Calming the Skin - Switching off the right kind of inflammation

Calming the skin with healing foods

The internet is flooded with recipes and nutritional advice on 'inflammation' these days. But, not all inflammation is bad, and it's important to point that out.

Swelling resulting from injury or surgery is the body's natural response to trauma and also signals the healing process.

Chronic inflammation is the swelling of areas inside the body (including skin) that is induced by an internal factor not related to that injury.

All my recipes on the blog are geared toward calming and soothing your skin. It's important for eczema sufferers but general skincare can also benefit from more alkaline foods and ingredients - the type that doesn't induce chronic inflammatory effects or create a toxic environment for our skin cells.

Eczema-friendly cabbage

There are so many eczema-friendly foods you can include in your recipes. Not only to soothe skin inflammation but to alleviate most skin sensitivities because it's so alkaline.

Red cabbage switches off the inflammatory response

Red cabbage is a nutrient-rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. These play a significant role in protecting the skin barrier which is where Eczema sufferers are most physiologically vulnerable.

Red cabbage can be used in a variety of ways so check out the recipe ideas for interesting ways to add it to your diet.

These are just some of the delicious and healing recipes on the blog. It's a taste (no pun intended) of the recipes inside of the new Ebook I've just written and launched.

You don't need to be an eczema sufferer to use this workbook and recipe ebook. The recipes are completely alkaline and bring relief to someone with gut health issues, and PMS symptoms as well as lowering high blood pressure symptoms.

It will have a calming effect and improve skin health in general.

The best part is that it can reduce symptoms of anxiety. All eczema sufferers know, self-included, that anxiety plays a huge role in how we respond to itchiness and flare-ups.

The calmer an eczema sufferer is, the less likely a flare-up is going to occur.

So, with that anxiety reduction, there's a stress reduction.

Some of the recipes in this ebook are specifically designed to support rest and deep sleep. All for the sake of reducing stress and anxiety.

That being said, this ebook can be valuable to many people, not just those with skin sensitivities.

Download your copy now for this special intro price of only $5.99.
